What you'll do

Design, develop, integrate, test, and maintain new and existing Space Vehicle flight software.
Develop software using C++ and object-oriented design principles in an embedded Linux environment.
Apply software engineering principles to plan, estimate, and decompose assigned work.
Ensure software integrates properly with the larger system baseline, including interfaces and network communications.
Develop test plans and test procedures for peer review.
Execute test procedures in coordination with Software Quality or other approved test oversight processes.
Use existing DevOps tools, repositories, development processes, and collaboration workflows in daily activities.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of relevant experience, a Graduate Degree and 2 years of related experience, or 8 years of experience without a degree.
2+ years of software development experience using C/C++.
Experience with object-oriented design and implementation.
Experience with or familiarity with embedded Linux development.
Experience with modern software development tools including compilers, debuggers, and version control systems like Git.
Familiarity with network communications and software interface development.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies, Python scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-assisted tools (preferred).
Ability to obtain a security clearance, which may only be granted to U.S. citizens.
