What you'll do

Monitor and implement updates from AWS and third-party suppliers.
Maintain and enhance Kubernetes-based cloud architecture.
Develop and modify software using Python, Java, or C++.
Support Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions including single sign-on and Active Directory.
Assist in the migration of applications to the cloud.
Write and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for developers and operators.
Ensure consistency across the baseline through version tagging and naming schemes.
Apply networking principles and security best practices within an AWS environment.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience, a graduate degree and 2 years of experience, or no degree and 8 years of experience.
Experience developing and deploying containerized applications using Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, or equivalent.
Experience with Linux environments including scripting, configuration, and software deployment.
Experience with configuration management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet) and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CDK, OpenTofu, CloudFormation).
Ability to obtain a High-Risk NOAA Public Trust clearance.
Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++ programming languages.
Familiarity with Agile workflow tools, version control, and iterative development processes (preferred).
Security clearance.
