Senior Software Engineer, AWS Cloud

What you'll do

• Lead large programs and initiatives while maintaining technical domain ownership.
• Create and maintain enterprise reference architecture and approved cloud patterns.
• Build and maintain applications and features for the developer services platform.
• Lead the development of a governed and industrialized AI-Augmented software delivery platform.
• Establish approved patterns for security, identity, observability, and pipelines.
• Coach engineers and architects on cloud patterns, security, and cost management.
• Develop Paved Paths to standardize cloud and DevOps practices.

What we're looking for

• High School Diploma and experience in IT or Computer Science in a private, public, government, or military environment.
• Bachelor's degree or higher and experience in the Information Technology or Computer Science field.
• Full-stack AWS Cloud Native application development experience using Typescript and/or Python.
• Experience in IaC development using Typescript, CloudFormation, or Python in a private, public, government, or military environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative, customer-focused mindset (preferred).
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, and GitHub API use (preferred).
• Substantial experience with identity (authn/authz) in AWS, Active Directory, Auth0, Cognito, OAuth/OIDC, Web Applications, and/or APIs (preferred).
