What you'll do

Coordinate propulsion program tasks including design, analysis, and special studies in coordination with program management.
Manage technical progress, risk, schedule, and cost for solid rocket motor development and production programs.
Resolve technical issues by interfacing with customers, program management, and internal functional organizations.
Provide technical consultation for business development activities, including writing white papers and delivering customer briefings.
Lead problem investigations and resolution across various functional areas to meet project objectives.
Perform post-test examinations, analyses, and reporting to support the program technical lead.
Manage engineering Cost Account Management (CAM) duties as assigned.
Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior engineers and project support personnel.

What we're looking for

Ability to obtain a US Secret Security clearance.
Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of project engineering experience.
Graduate degree and at least 2 years of project engineering experience.
Minimum of 8 years of project engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
Degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
Knowledge of pertinent codes, rules, and regulations related to engineering assignments (preferred).
Proficiency with engineering test equipment, CAD, and various office/engineering software applications (preferred).
U.S. citizens.
