What you'll do

Perform hands-on engineering for product design, development, testing, and troubleshooting of unmanned aircraft systems.
Develop integration and verification plans to ensure proper system operation and performance.
Conduct component trade studies and characterize system performance across various environments.
Identify technical risks in production processes and develop effective mitigation strategies.
Create and maintain technical documentation including system specifications, design documents, and maintenance plans.
Analyze data from design verification tests and run simulations to predict system performance.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance during the development lifecycle.

What we're looking for

A Bachelor's degree and 4 years of relevant experience, a Graduate degree and 2 years of related experience, or 8 years of experience without a degree.
Active U.S. Security Clearance with current 5-year update.
Experience with aerospace systems and the development of integrated hardware/software products (preferred).
Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (preferred).
Experience with MATLAB, LabView, Python, or C/C++/C# (preferred).
Experience in unmanned aircraft, guided weapon systems, radar systems, other sensor modalities, or RF systems (preferred).
Experience with requirements management using DOORS (preferred).
U.S. citizens.
