Specialist, Integration and Test Engineer will join the engineering team to support the design, integration, verification, validation, and deployment of advanced systems and services. This role focuses on developing and enforcing test processes across hardware, software, and networked environments while ensuring traceability between customer requirements and test procedures. The engineer will automate manual testing, develop test scenarios, perform root cause analysis, and troubleshoot complex system issues in a lab environment. Key technical skills include proficiency in Java, Python, or C#; scripting in JavaScript, Shell, or PowerShell; and experience with tools like Selenium, TestComplete, PyTest, JUnit, and Robot framework. The role also involves working with Linux systems, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and SQL to support air traffic management operations that enhance the safety and capacity of the global aviation community.
Provide daily automated and manual test engineering support to troubleshoot complex operational issues and perform root cause analysis.
Automate the integration testing of hardware and software system components within a lab environment.
Automate software build, enhancement, and regression tests while providing performance metrics.
Develop test scenarios and conduct acceptance tests for software applications and hardware requirements.
Maintain traceability between customer requirements and specific test procedures.
Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve existing manual testing processes.
Troubleshoot complex systems involving integrated hardware, software, and communication networks.
What we're looking for
Obtain and maintain an FAA Public Trust clearance.
Bachelor's degree in a related field with 4 years of experience, a graduate degree with 2 years of experience, or 8 years of experience without a degree.
Minimum 3 years of experience designing, architecting, and testing automation scripts for web and desktop applications.
Minimum 3 years of experience troubleshooting complex system issues and performing root cause analysis.
Experience in formal systems testing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and communication systems.
Proficiency in programming languages (Java, Python, or C#) and scripting languages (JavaScript, Shell, or PowerShell).
Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, TestComplete, PyTest, JUnit, and frameworks like TestNG or Robot Framework.
