Specialist, Integration and Test Engineering

Specialist, Integration and Test Engineering will join the Environmental Test Laboratory team to coordinate, prepare, manage, and execute environmental testing projects for high-value defense hardware. The role involves performing exposure tests to push products to their functional and structural limits by operating climatic chambers that replicate extreme temperatures, humidity, altitudes, and vacuum conditions. Additionally, the individual will operate electrodynamic shakers to simulate harsh vibration environments such as gunfire or rocket launches. Key responsibilities include documenting anomalies, advising new programs on qualification test planning, and leading a team of technicians. Required skills include technical writing, Microsoft Office proficiency, and potentially experience with MATLAB, VBA, Python, avionics, space hardware, or MIL-STD-810 standards. The position focuses on ensuring the survivability of high-technology components within the defense industry through rigorous environmental testing protocols.
