Specialist, Information Security Systems Engineer

What you'll do

• Perform enterprise security gateway access control and baseline configuration management.
• Conduct system performance testing to ensure requirements compliance.
• Provide engineering support for testing and configuring new information security products.
• Perform lifecycle testing and operational support on SOA-based security architectures.
• Maintain compliance with customer-tailored NIST security controls.
• Perform packet captures and analysis to identify anomalous behavior and traffic patterns.
• Explain complex issues, data flows, and packet analysis to customers.
• Support the test, development, deployment, and maintenance of mission-critical communication systems.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field with experience.
• Graduate Degree and prior related experience.
• Relevant network experience with security technology management, including system test, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting in a global enterprise environment.
• Experience integrating large complex multi-vendor solutions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a FAA public trust clearance.
• Experience with OSI model, TCP/IP-based networking architectures, and communications (preferred).
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting security gateway solutions including Firewalls, NAT, and IPSec VPNs (preferred).
• Security clearance.
