What you'll do

Perform engineering tests, experimental testing, and fault isolation on systems and equipment.
Execute electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to identify and repair hardware defects.
Conduct subsystem and system-level verification and validation testing.
Assemble, repair, calibrate, and align equipment according to blueprints and manuals.
Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform system checkouts.
Build cables and repair radio and ancillary hardware components.
Track radio development assets and order necessary ancillary items through the order entry system.
Write failure analysis reports, test data summaries, and process documentation.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
Minimum of 8 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.
Experience working with common test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and voltmeters.
Experience with assembly and repair methods for surface mount technology (0402 scale).
Basic understanding of Radio Frequency circuits and Software Defined Radio architectures.
U.S. citizens.
