What you'll do

  • Administer and maintain Windows-based servers and workstations within a cleared DoD environment.
  • Manage the deployment of operating system patches, security updates, and hotfixes.
  • Implement system hardening measures using STIGs and organizational cybersecurity policies.
  • Perform vulnerability identification and remediation to support RMF controls and audit readiness.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and operational health to ensure mission continuity.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and access-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate configuration records and technical documentation for compliance inspections.
  • Coordinate with cybersecurity and network teams to support accreditation and incident response.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of experience, Graduate Degree with 2 years, or 8 years of experience without a degree.
  • DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 2 Professional Certifications (e.g., Security+ CE or CCNA-Security).
  • Experience administering and maintaining Windows-based servers and workstations in a DoD cleared environment.
  • Experience with system hardening, patching, and vulnerability remediation according to STIGs and RMF controls.
  • Experience as a DoD COMSEC Manager or supporting COMSEC account management (preferred).
  • Experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems in regulated environments (preferred).
  • Experience with virtualization technologies like KVM, VMware, vSphere/vCenter, and container platforms (preferred).
  • Secret Clearance.
