What you'll do

Plan the technical approach, resources, schedule, budget, and equipment required for testing new systems and products.
Lead the test approach and document system verification throughout the entire engineering development lifecycle.
Generate system test work products by applying appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools.
Prepare test and diagnostic programs while designing test fixtures and equipment specifications.
Coordinate functional, environmental, operational, and performance tests on hardware, software, and systems.
Develop and implement cost-effective methods for testing and troubleshooting during product development and manufacturing.
Lead and manage employees while overseeing the successful completion of major programs and projects.
Lead small technical proposals and contribute to medium-sized proposals to support business growth.

What we're looking for

U.S. citizenship is required.
Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance within a reasonable amount of time.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics with 10 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 8 years of experience.
Demonstrated understanding of test engineering concepts, principles, and theories.
Experience with object-oriented programming, system processes, and scripting languages.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of satellite communications, ground to satellite communication, and ground operations (preferred).
Success leading the systems development life cycle with proficiency in requirements management and system modeling tools (preferred).
