What you'll do

Plan the technical approach, resources, schedule, budget, and equipment required for testing new systems and products.
Lead the test approach and document system verification throughout the entire engineering development lifecycle.
Generate system test work products by applying appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools.
Prepare test and diagnostic programs and design test fixtures and equipment for new products.
Coordinate functional, environmental, operational, and performance tests on hardware, software, and systems.
Implement cost-effective methods for testing and troubleshooting hardware and software across all development phases.
Lead and manage employees while overseeing the successful completion of major programs and projects.
Lead small technical proposals and contribute to medium-sized proposals for the company.

What we're looking for

U.S. citizenship is required.
Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance within a reasonable amount of time.
A Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics with 10 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 8 years of experience.
Success leading the systems development life cycle with proficiency in requirements management and system modeling tools (preferred).
Knowledge of satellite communications, ground to satellite communications, and ground operations (preferred).
Demonstrated use and understanding of test engineering concepts, principles, and theories.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with object-oriented programming, system processes, and scripting languages.
