Solutions Engineering Manager, Commercial - West

What you'll do

• Manage cross-functional technical activities throughout the full sales lifecycle for Cloudflare customers.
• Lead and mentor a geographically distributed team of Solutions Engineers in the SoCal region.
• Identify and execute technical proof-of-concept activities to support sales cycles.
• Drive best practices and organizational skills across cross-functional teams.
• Influence matrixed organizations and build successful collaboration around key initiatives.
• Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of experience in internet technologies and cloud solutions with a relevant degree.
• At least 3 years of management experience leading teams of Solutions Engineers or similar roles.
• Proven ability to manage sales cycles and identify technical proof activities for customer engagements.
• Strong organizational skills and demonstrated success in driving best practices across cross-functional teams.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to present complex technical concepts clearly.
• Familiarity with industry-standard sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, BANT, and POCs.
