Software Reverse Engineer As part of a contract team supporting a DoD client, the Software Reverse Engineer performs in-depth technical evaluations of computer and network technologies to identify software capabilities and vulnerabilities. The role involves analyzing program code through disassembly and reverse engineering to produce Scientific and Technical Intelligence assessments for defense partners. Daily responsibilities include evaluating weapon systems and C4 networks by analyzing printed circuit boards, microprocessors, digital signal processors, and field programmable gate arrays. The candidate will extract firmware and analyze software to determine system performance while applying knowledge of the cyber-kill chain and offensive techniques. Required skills include proficiency in C++, Python, Java, or GO, along with experience using disassemblers, debuggers, Wireshark, and BurpSuite. Preferred expertise includes IDA Pro, OllyDbg, Kali Linux, Metasploit, and analyzing Software Defined Radios. A TS/SCI clearance is required for this position.
