What you'll do

  • Perform in-depth technical evaluations of computer and network technologies through software code disassembly and reverse engineering.
  • Identify and describe potential cybersecurity issues using knowledge of the cyber-kill chain and offensive techniques.
  • Extract and analyze firmware to determine the capabilities and performance of hardware systems.
  • Analyze printed circuit boards, microprocessors, digital signal processors, and field programmable gate arrays.
  • Conduct technical intelligence analysis of weapon systems and C4 networks.
  • Author concise Scientific and Technical Intelligence (S&TI) assessments for DoD and intelligence community partners.
  • Perform network traffic analysis and proxying using tools like Wireshark or BurpSuite.

What we're looking for

  • Secret clearance is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 5+ years of experience with software design/development or reverse engineering are required.
  • A Master's degree in a STEM field and 3+ years of experience with software design/development or reverse engineering are required.
  • 10+ years of experience with software design and development or reverse engineering may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience with C++, Python, Java, or GO programming languages is required.
  • Experience with software disassemblers, de-buggers, or reverse engineering applications is required.
  • Experience with network traffic analysis and proxying tools such as Wireshark or BurpSuite is required.
  • Ability to conduct all-source S&TI research, analysis, and engineering is required.
  • 2+ years of experience with software/firmware code assembly, disassembly, and tools like IDA Pro, OllyDbg, Kali Linux, and Metasploit (preferred).
  • Experience in programming with FPGAs, DSP design or modeling, or analyzing Software Defined Radios (SDRs) (preferred).
  • Knowledge of military systems, computer network technologies, and excellent communication skills (preferred).
