The Software Product Security Engineer Intern joins the Personal Systems team to support security and sustainability for enterprise device-security solutions. What you'll do

Design, develop, and test software for enterprise device-security solutions.
Build automation tools to improve engineering and testing processes.
Analyze telemetry data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Support integrations with Azure, AWS, and other cloud services.
Develop proofs of concept for emerging customer security requirements.
Troubleshoot software defects and perform root-cause analysis.
Document technical designs, test results, and security recommendations.

What we're looking for

Must be currently enrolled full-time at an accredited university pursuing a master’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
Must have no more than 24 months of prior professional work experience related to the internship.
Programming experience with at least one language such as Python, C#, Java, Go, or TypeScript.
Understanding of software development and testing principles.
Familiarity with data analysis and software automation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging abilities.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to collaborate in an Agile engineering environment.
Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud platforms (preferred).
Knowledge of cybersecurity or enterprise device management (preferred).
Experience with APIs, cloud-service integration, or telemetry systems (preferred).
Exposure to AI-assisted development or analytics (preferred).
Understanding of UX/UI principles for technical products (preferred).
