What you'll do

Design enterprise architecture to support cloud, digital, and modernization initiatives.
Rearchitect C++, Java, and Python applications into microservices.
Identify, define, and maintain key interfaces and services for existing systems.
Define and defend modernization strategies based on mission benefits and costs.
Incorporate non-functional goals into rearchitected systems.
Create and communicate incremental modernization roadmaps with performance goals and milestones.
Mentor and supervise team members on software modernization tasks.

What we're looking for

12+ years of experience with the selective rearchitecting of C++, Java, and Python applications using microservices.
Experience identifying, defining, and maintaining as-is key interfaces and services.
Ability to define and defend a modernization strategy based on mission benefits and cost.
Ability to define and communicate an incremental modernization roadmap with performance goals and milestones.
Experience refactoring systems with user interfaces, performance goals, and interoperability constraints (preferred).
Experience with multi-security level cloud environments (preferred).
Bachelor’s degree.
