JOB TITLE: Software Engineering Testing Lead - Space Force (Secret Clearance Required) - Scottsdale, AZ As the Software Engineering Testing Lead - Space Force (Secret Clearance Required) - Scottsdale, AZ, you will join a cross-functional team within the SDA Tracking Missions group. You will lead a team of integration and test engineers to oversee the integration, verification, and validation of complex software systems within the Unified Testing Framework environment. Your daily responsibilities include developing test strategies for cloud-based products, architecting test solutions, and creating automated test scripts using Python 3.9+. You will establish best practices for test automation, continuous integration, and test reporting while leading Test Readiness Reviews. Key technical requirements include expertise in object-oriented programming, system processes, and cloud-based integration testing to ensure product quality and reliability for mission-critical defense and aerospace software solutions.

What you'll do

Lead Test Readiness Reviews and internal testing assessments with key program stakeholders.
Establish best practices for test automation, continuous integration, and test reporting.
Coordinate integration activities and procedures between systems and software teams.
Align test execution with program schedule requirements and budget parameters.

What we're looking for

U.S. citizenship is required.
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics with 8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 6 years of experience.
Expert knowledge of Python programming, object-oriented programming, and system processes.
Expert knowledge of testing methodologies, system integration practices, and test automation frameworks.
Experience with cloud-based integration testing.
Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices (preferred).
Experience with requirements management and traceability (preferred).
