The Software Engineering Technical Leader joins the Secure SDLC Methodology Team within the Security & Trust Organization. This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of Software Security Requirements governance and driving the transformation of static policy documents into structured, machine-readable requirements. The successful candidate will coordinate regularly scheduled requirements releases, manage improvement requests, and lead cross-functional initiatives involving subject matter experts and developers. Key responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining agentic workflows to support security requirements governance, verification, and reporting. The role requires extensive experience in Secure SDLC Methodology, Security Requirements Engineering, and DevSecOps. You will also address technical problems related to threat modeling, build environment security, automated evidence collection, and quantitative risk calculations to ensure durable growth and operational excellence.
Manage the intake of improvement requests and coordinate regularly scheduled requirements releases.
Drive strategic SDLC governance initiatives and software security requirements transformation.
Transform static security policy documents into structured, machine-readable requirements for engineering workflows.
Design, build, and maintain agentic workflows to support security governance, verification, and reporting.
Support critical initiatives including threat modeling and build environment security.
Establish durable, repeatable processes for requirements intake and release management at scale.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of related experience, Master's plus 6 years, or PhD plus 3 years of related experience.
Extensive experience in Secure SDLC Methodology, including defining and governing software security requirements and release management.
Proven track record in Security Requirements Engineering, transforming static policies into actionable, machine-readable requirements for engineering workflows.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional transformation initiatives, coordinating across subject matter experts, developers, and product operations.
Strong background in DevSecOps and Build Environment Security strategy, including designing agentic workflows and automation for security governance.
Advanced knowledge of Threat Modeling and Secure Architecture & Design principles (preferred).
Experience supporting strategic SDLC governance initiatives, such as automated evidence collection and quantitative risk calculations (preferred).
Exceptional communication skills to build consensus among stakeholders and explain complex security topics clearly (preferred).
