What you'll do

Lead and mentor a local team of software engineers in North America.
Manage day-to-day activities of the Customer Engineering team to meet software support goals.
Deliver sophisticated software development kits (SDKs) for Silicon One networking solutions.
Review the regression backlog and ensure timely execution of all projects.
Gather requirements from customers to deliver features that enhance their success.
Manage team resources including planning, staffing, budgeting, and job allocations.
Participate in strategic planning with senior management to improve processes and solve technical challenges.
Support the integration of SAI and SDK functionalities with the Core ASIC Group.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in CS/EE and 12+ years of software development experience, OR a Master’s degree and 8+ years of related experience.
Prior software development and integration experience using C, C++, or Python.
Experience in L2/L3 networking, forwarding protocols, platform solutions, and network topologies.
Experience with networking protocols such as TCP/IP and Ethernet, and network architecture.
Experience with agile development methodologies and software project management tools like JIRA and Confluence.
Experience with SONiC, SAI, or another Network OS (preferred).
Experience specifically with Software Development Kits (SDKs) and their application in networking (preferred).
Certifications such as PMP, CSM, or Cisco Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) (preferred).
