Software Engineering Manager, CRM

What you'll do

• Lead the Smartsync device manager software verification organization including engineers, contractors, and vendors.
• Develop and execute engineering plans that balance priorities, capacity, risk, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage all aspects of development, including test development, cybersecurity, quality remediation, and technical debt reduction.
• Partner with cross-functional teams in Product Management, Quality, Regulatory, and Cybersecurity to deliver business outcomes.
• Coach and develop high-performing engineering teams by providing decision authority and feedback for growth.
• Define the verification and validation strategy across the product lifecycle to ensure all requirements are met.
• Oversee the development of scalable test frameworks, tools, and infrastructure to improve quality and efficiency.
• Champion modern practices such as test automation, continuous testing, and shift-left quality initiatives.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical discipline and minimum 5 years of technical work experience.
• Advanced degree in science, technology, engineering, or math with 3 years of technical experience and 3 years of demonstrated managerial experience.
• Experience in Med-Tech (preferred).
• Experience as a software developer or technical software leader (preferred).
• Ability to manage geographically distributed software development teams (preferred).
• Familiarity with design controls, standards, and quality system regulations (preferred).
• Experience with or knowledge of CAPA processes (preferred).
• Work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment.
