Software Engineering Group Manager, Artificial Intelligence

What you'll do

• Lead a large-scale AI engineering organization to design, build, and scale enterprise AI solutions.
• Define and execute the AI engineering roadmap including relevant technologies, frameworks, and tooling.
• Provide technical oversight for architectural decisions regarding machine learning platforms and generative AI initiatives.
• Manage team performance by hiring, mentoring, and creating career progression opportunities for engineers.
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle to ensure production-ready, secure, and scalable AI products.
• Translate business objectives into technical requirements while communicating progress and risks to senior leadership.
• Establish engineering standards, reusable frameworks, and modern practices like CI/CD and cloud-native architecture.
• Manage resource allocation, budgeting, and capacity planning across multiple development workstreams.

What we're looking for

• Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience.
• A master's degree, PhD, or professional certifications are desirable.
• At least 8 years of industry-relevant experience is typically required.
• At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required.
• Experience must include leading large-scale engineering teams and managing technical leaders.
• Proven experience delivering AI, machine learning, or Generative AI solutions in enterprise environments is required.
• Strong knowledge of modern software engineering principles, architecture patterns, and cloud-native development is required.
• Banking or financial services industry experience is preferred.
