Software Engineering - CTJ - Poly serves as a Software Engineer on the Azure AI Platform air gapped engineering team. You will design, build, and maintain secure, scalable cloud services for mission-critical workloads across air-gapped and sovereign environments. Your daily responsibilities include developing automated systems for deployment, validation, and telemetry while participating in on-call rotations to perform root cause analysis and implement durable fixes. To succeed, you must be proficient in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, with preferred experience in C# or Python, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation. Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable cloud services for Azure AI Platform workloads in air-gapped environments.

Utilize AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot and LLM workflows to accelerate coding, debugging, and prototyping.
Participate in on-call rotations to investigate service issues and perform root cause analysis for durable fixes.
Incorporate customer and partner feedback into technical decisions to drive innovation and rapid learning loops.
Create canonical documentation and clear communication to maintain alignment across different engineering teams.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
Active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with Polygraph.
Verification of U.S. citizenship is required due to legal restrictions for government agency support.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Background in cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
Proficiency in C# or Python.
Understanding of CI/CD and automation best practices.
