As a Software Engineer Lead (Java FullStack Developer) within the Lending organization, you will lead the technical design and development of software solutions to address complex business needs. The role involves mentoring onshore and offshore developers, reviewing code, and providing technical guidance. Your daily work involves utilizing Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, Kafka, Gradle, and Angular for front-end development. You will also work with OpenShift or cloud services like AWS and Azure, along with tools such as Git, Jenkins, UDeploy, Maven, Dynatrace, Humio/Splunk, SQL, Oracle, and MongoDB to ensure system stability, performance tuning, and compliance within the lending product area.

What you'll do

  • Lead the design and development of scalable UI applications using Angular.
  • Own front-end architecture decisions including component design, state management, and performance optimization.
  • Design and develop software solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
  • Manage system stability through monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting in tools like Dynatrace or Splunk.
  • Perform performance tuning, JVM profiling, and capacity planning to ensure system reliability.
  • Mentor onshore and offshore developers while providing technical guidance and code reviews.
  • Create technical and procedural documentation for software solutions and business requirements.

What we're looking for

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience.
  • Must have 5+ years of experience with Java, Microservices, OpenShift or other cloud services (AWS, Azure), Spring Boot, WebSphere, Apache, and Apigee.
  • Must lead the design and development of rich, responsive, and scalable UI applications using Angular.
  • Must own front-end architecture decisions including component design, state management, performance optimization, and accessibility.
  • Must have experience with CI/CD tools such as GIT, Jenkins, UDeploy, and build tools like Maven or Gradle.
  • Must have experience in creating monitoring dashboards using tools like Dynatrace, Humio, or Splunk.
  • Must possess strong debugging skills including performance tuning, JVM profiling, and capacity planning.
  • Must have experience with SQL, Oracle, and MongoDB databases while leading projects and mentoring onshore/offshore developers.
