Software Engineer, JAVA Software Administrator

What you'll do

• Monitor enterprise vulnerability and security management tools to ensure system integrity.
• Coordinate remediation activities with infrastructure, application, and information security teams.
• Manage workload automation including job scheduling, monitoring, and agent support.
• Troubleshoot batch processing issues and resolve production incidents.
• Support platform upgrades, patching, and change implementation activities.
• Develop Python scripts to automate repetitive operational tasks and reporting.
• Maintain operational runbooks and documentation for compliance and process improvement.
• Monitor application health and performance metrics to ensure system stability.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 4 years of experience in Java and Java Enterprise technology architecture, design, development, and support.
• 4 years of experience designing and developing scalable enterprise-level back-end solutions.
• 4 years of hands-on programming experience in Java, Spring, multi-threading, REST, Data Caching Services, DB schema design, and data access technologies.
• 4 years of experience rolling out distributed, large-scale, low-latency web applications.
• 4 years of experience with automated CI/CD pipelines to facilitate rapid and reliable software releases.
• 4 years of experience managing infrastructure using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• 4 years of experience with web service tools such as Apache Tomcat and Kafka.
