Software Engineer - Image Reconstruction

What you'll do

• Develop high-performance software and numerical algorithms for Molecular Imaging technologies using C++.
• Translate mathematical, physics, and research concepts into robust, production-quality software implementations.
• Design, document, and optimize flexible, high-performance numerical algorithms for image formation and data analysis.
• Implement automated testing strategies and frameworks to ensure software quality, performance, and reliability.
• Develop automated approaches for test execution, validation, reporting, and troubleshooting.
• Analyze system behavior to identify and resolve defects, performance issues, and complex technical problems.
• Collaborate with physicists and research scientists to implement new data correction and image formation methods.

What we're looking for

• Must have a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong software design and development experience using C++.
• Experience working with Microsoft Visual Studio or comparable development environments.
• Solid foundation or demonstrated aptitude in mathematics and physics.
• Experience with modern software development methodologies such as Agile, SAFe, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Experience designing, implementing, or working with automated software testing frameworks and strategies.
• 2+ years of software development experience preferred.
