Senior Software Engineer, Image Reconstruction

What you'll do

• Re-architect the CT image-reconstruction pipeline into a fully GPU-native, scalable platform using C++ and CUDA.
• Translate complex signal and image-processing models from physicists into high-performance GPU implementations.
• Balance clinical image quality against computational costs during the development of reconstruction algorithms.
• Profile and optimize memory usage across caches and shared memory to maximize performance on constrained hardware.
• Develop and parallelize code to improve throughput for medical imaging systems.
• Pioneer machine learning models to replace expensive physics calculations with faster, accurate equivalents.
• Design, build, test, and deploy reconstruction software in collaboration with global platform teams.

What we're looking for

• You must have at least 5 years of professional experience developing and maintaining complex software systems in C++.
• You must have experience with GPU programming using CUDA, OpenCL, or HIP.
• Alternatively, you may have experience optimizing code for resource-constrained environments and a desire to transition into GPU development.
• You must possess a bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
• You should have a strong mathematical foundation and knowledge of image and signal processing.
• You must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain complex designs to non-specialists.
• You must be authorized to work in the United States.
