What you'll do

Design, develop, and troubleshoot software components for secure, stable, and scalable products.
Write high-quality code using Scala, Java, or Python with minimal guidance.
Analyze large, diverse datasets to identify problems and inform decision-making for application development.
Utilize Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) tools and automation to improve delivery value.
Implement enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and refactoring.
Establish validation standards for AI outputs including secure coding, peer review, and automated testing.
Maintain and debug code within a large corporate environment while considering upstream and downstream impacts.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Proficiency in coding in Scala, Java, or Python.
Strong Big-Data and database skills.
Experience with AWS cloud computing using ECS, EKS, EMR, Lambda, etc.
Well-versed in data structures, algorithms, and efficient coding practices.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum), CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and understanding responsible AI usage.
Familiarity with Spark and distributed computing (preferred).
