As a Software Engineer III - Platform Tooling Development in the Collaboration and Communication Product Line, you will design and implement cloud contact center infrastructure and application components. You will build scalable, resilient platforms and integrations using Python, Java, and JavaScript/TypeScript. Your daily responsibilities include provisioning cloud resources with Terraform, developing microservices, and managing container orchestration using AWS ECS, EKS, Fargate, and Docker. You will build CI/CD pipelines, create REST APIs, and implement OAuth2 and JWT authentication. You will also drive the adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices while ensuring security and correctness. The role focuses on solving technical challenges within a cloud contact center ecosystem, specifically managing real-time data streaming via Kinesis and Kafka to support efficient, reliable client-facing communications.

What we're looking for
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Seven years of relevant experience in design, development, debugging, and maintaining production-grade full-stack applications in large-scale environments.
Hands-on experience in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
Proficiency in AWS services and Terraform for production environments, including modules, state management, and safe change practices.
Experience building CI/CD pipelines, using Git, and leveraging Kubernetes and Docker for runtime environments.
Experience designing Web Frameworks such as Spring Boot, MVC, and REST APIs, and creating user interfaces using React.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and coaching engineers on responsible AI use.
Working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, SQL, and Agile software development lifecycles.
