What you'll do

  • Design, build, and maintain Android features using Kotlin and Java across various devices and OS versions.
  • Lead the implementation of complex UI flows, data management, and offline error handling.
  • Integrate backend services using REST/GraphQL and implement secure authentication flows.
  • Build and maintain automated unit, instrumentation, and UI tests to improve app stability.
  • Produce architecture and design artifacts while ensuring software code meets specific design constraints.
  • Utilize enterprise-authorized AI coding tools to generate, refactor, and document code while validating outputs.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify patterns and drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture.
  • Improve CI/CD pipelines for mobile builds, quality gates, and release processes.

What we're looking for

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
  • Strong hands-on Android development experience with Kotlin, Android SDK, and modern architecture patterns like MVI, MVVM, or Clean Architecture.
  • Experience building UI using Jetpack Compose and/or XML, including accessibility and responsive layout practices.
  • Experience with mobile testing practices and frameworks for unit, instrumentation, and UI tests.
  • Experience implementing and improving CI/CD for mobile, including automated builds and quality gates.
  • Practical experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools to generate, validate, and refine code and tests.
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, including data sensitivity and secure handling of inputs and outputs.
  • Experience with modularization, shared libraries, and scaling Android codebases (preferred).
