As a Software Engineer II within the Cloud Supply Chain Engineering group, you will develop scalable software services and AI-powered applications to support the infrastructure powering Microsoft’s cloud environment. What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 2+ years of engineering experience with coding in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check.
Proficiency in one or more languages such as C#, Python, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript (preferred).
Experience designing and developing cloud-based applications, APIs, distributed services, or enterprise platforms (preferred).
Understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and system-design fundamentals (preferred).
Practical knowledge of generative AI concepts including LLMs, prompt engineering, embeddings, RAG, and intelligent agents (preferred).
Experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, or similar technologies (preferred).
Experience with infrastructure tools like AKS, App Service, Functions, Cosmos DB, or Microsoft Fabric (preferred).
