What you'll do

  • Design and implement backend services for cross-border transaction processing and settlement workflows.
  • Develop software that meets strict security, resiliency, and compliance requirements for global payment systems.
  • Write technical specifications based on conceptual designs and stated business requirements.
  • Analyze code to identify errors and revise programs as needed.
  • Perform unit, functional, load, and regression testing on new or modified code before production releases.
  • Maintain test scripts and prepare comprehensive test plans and summary documents.
  • Mentor and monitor software engineers on the technical aspects of their assignments.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve system functionality.

What we're looking for

  • Candidates must possess the eligibility to work in the United States for any employer at the date of hire.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and/or 2 or more years of related industry experience is required.
  • Experience building or supporting payment systems, financial services platforms, or other highly available, regulated distributed systems is required.
  • Familiarity with cross-border payment flows, digital assets, or blockchain-enabled technologies is required.
  • Competent (2+ years) programming skills in Java, C#, C++, or Objective-C are required.
  • Competence with SQL or PL/SQL and relational database concepts is required.
  • Experience with secure programming techniques is highly desirable.
  • Advanced knowledge of QA/QC techniques and certifications are preferred.
