Software Engineer II, Automation Tester

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot complex software solutions using non-conventional approaches to solve technical problems.
• Utilize enterprise-authorized AI coding tools to generate code, refactor systems, and create automated unit tests.
• Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with existing systems.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring all design constraints are met.
• Analyze large, diverse datasets to identify patterns and drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture.
• Develop visualizations and reporting from data to support the continuous improvement of software applications.
• Implement UI and backend/API automation using tools like Playwright or Selenium to ensure software quality.
• Manage test data validation and verification using SQL and various database technologies.

What we're looking for

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years of applied experience.
• Fluent programming skills in at least one of Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or Java.
• Hands-on experience in QA automation, SDET, or test engineering.
• Experience with UI automation and backend/API automation.
• Knowledge of testing practices (functional, regression, negative testing) and strong QA fundamentals.
• Working knowledge of databases and SQL for test data validation.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows.
• Exposure to agile methodologies including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
• Experience with Playwright (preferred), Selenium, or performance testing tools like JMeter (preferred).
• Cloud experience (AWS) and ability to scale test execution using containers (preferred).
