What you'll do

  • Design, build, and maintain high-performance options trading platforms for internal and external clients.
  • Develop market data and exchange connectivity solutions to support trading activities.
  • Implement changes based on US Options market structures, regulations, and exchange service offerings.
  • Collaborate with product managers and users to determine technical requirements for new features.
  • Develop new APIs and user interfaces in Java or C++.
  • Coordinate with penetration testers to ensure system security and data protection.
  • Communicate with traders, sales teams, and compliance officers regarding feature requests and functionality.
  • Deploy code to a global user base across various databases, caches, and queues.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor or Master degree in relevant technical fields such as Computer Science or Electronic Engineering.
  • Proficiency in either Java or C++.
  • Experience with Linux operating system.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience developing order management systems, exchange connectivity, or market data feeds for US Equities or Options markets.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Experience with Event Sourcing based architecture (preferred).
  • Knowledge of JVM internals and tuning for low latency applications (preferred); experience building C++/Java systems with strict low-latency requirements (preferred).
