As a Software Engineer, Distributed Systems on the Observability Platform team, you will design and build scalable distributed systems to power metrics, logs, traces, and related observability workflows across the stack. You will develop high-throughput services for ingesting, transforming, storing, and querying telemetry data while strengthening the resilience of Kubernetes-based production systems through self-healing and autoscaling. The role involves solving complex reliability challenges and improving operational excellence by partnering with SREs and platform engineers. You will work with technologies including Golang, Prometheus, ClickHouse, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and React/JavaScript. This position focuses on the technical challenge of managing infrastructure for thousands of microservices at hyperscale, processing billions of time series and petabytes of log data to ensure system reliability and provide critical observability tools across a large-scale distributed environment.

What we're looking for
7+ years of experience in software engineering, infrastructure engineering, or a closely related field.
Strong programming skills in Golang or another systems-level language for building backend or infrastructure services.
Deep understanding of distributed systems concepts including fault tolerance, scalability, and system reliability.
Hands-on experience deploying and operating containerized services in Kubernetes or similar cloud-native environments.
Solid understanding of observability domains including metrics, logs, and traces.
Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ClickHouse, time-series systems, high-throughput data pipelines, or open-source infrastructure (preferred).
