Software Engineer, C++

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and optimize high-performance, low-latency C++ software for critical defense applications.
• Engineer scalable solutions while managing complex algorithmic challenges and memory management for real-time operations.
• Integrate C++ components with hardware and systems engineering to ensure seamless functionality.
• Debug, test, and profile C++ code to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle from architectural design to deployment of advanced systems.
• Maintain and contribute to large, mature C++ codebases and intricate system architectures.

What we're looking for

• A robust foundation in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience developing high-performance software using modern C++.
• Proven ability to design and implement software focused on performance, efficiency, and resource management.
• Ability to navigate, understand, and contribute to large, mature C++ codebases and complex architectures.
• Experience in debugging, testing, and profiling C++ code to resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
