Software Engineer, AI & Automation

What you'll do

• Build AI-enabled workflows and multi-agent systems to automate security design reviews, threat modeling, and vulnerability analysis.
• Develop RAG and semantic search experiences across large code and documentation repositories.
• Create automated code-review capabilities to identify insecure patterns early in the development lifecycle.
• Build production Python services and APIs with robust architecture, authentication, and observability for security workflows.
• Design and operate scalable pipelines to ingest, process, and index large volumes of data.
• Improve AI system quality through evaluation frameworks, prompt management, and evidence-based iteration.
• Manage production tradeoffs including latency, reliability, model selection, and cost optimization.
• Implement security controls for AI applications, such as prompt injection defenses and sensitive-data handling.

What we're looking for

• Must have 3+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production software.
• Must have strong Python proficiency, including hands-on experience building production backend services and APIs.
• Must have experience designing maintainable backend architectures with authentication, authorization, testing, and observability.
• Must have experience developing distributed or cloud-based systems while managing scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Must have hands-on experience building production AI-enabled applications using LLM APIs, agents, RAG, or comparable architectures.
• Must have experience defining, evaluating, and improving the quality of AI-enabled systems in production.
• Must possess strong communication skills to explain technical decisions and tradeoffs clearly.
• Must be based in the U.S.
