What you'll do

Lead a team of engineers building and operating the Graviton bare-metal virtualization layer.
Manage the VM lifecycle, including subsystem provisioning, health monitoring, and fault recovery.
Own the custom AMI pipeline and plugin framework for deploying software onto emulated hardware.
Drive platform reliability to 99.96% availability with optimized spin-up times.
Scale the simulation platform to support over 4,000 concurrent virtual entities.
Define the technical roadmap for fidelity improvements like crypto emulation and bus simulation.
Reduce Hardware-in-the-Loop dependency by expanding the scope of tests running on VirtSat.
Hire, develop, and retain top embedded engineering talent for the organization.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or lawfully admitted as a refugee or granted asylum.
BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
5+ years of experience managing engineers and leading team development.
Experience with embedded systems, Linux systems programming, or virtualization (KVM/QEMU).
Experience building and operating distributed systems at scale using AWS services like EC2, ECS, Step Functions, and DynamoDB.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as CDK or CloudFormation.
Preferred experience with ARM64/Graviton bare-metal instances and QEMU device emulation.
