As a Software Development Engineering - Advisor I, you will join the platform engineering team to build and improve capabilities supporting secure, reliable software delivery. You will work with cross-functional teams to automate deployment workflows, strengthen continuous integration and continuous delivery practices, and enhance operational efficiency in high-availability environments. Your daily responsibilities include architecting and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, managing automated deployments via Kubernetes, Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), Argo CD, Helm, and Terraform, and developing automation scripts using Python, Bash, and Golang. You will also manage work in an Agile environment while ensuring code quality through tools like Git, Artifactory, and SonarQube. This role focuses on solving complex infrastructure challenges to enable scalable platform operations within the fintech and payments industry, specifically addressing requirements for secure engineering practices and reliable release cycles.
Architect, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and related automation tools.
Support automated application deployments using Kubernetes, EKS, Argo CD, Helm, and Terraform.
Develop automation scripts and tooling using Python, Bash, and Golang to reduce manual effort.
Perform integration and regression testing within Kubernetes-based environments to ensure release quality.
Implement secure engineering practices including pipeline controls, artifact management, and code quality validation.
Manage and prioritize tasks in an Agile environment based on evolving technical requirements.
What we're looking for
You must have 6+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, site reliability engineering, or software engineering with a focus on CI/CD automation.
You must have 4+ years of experience designing and managing secure CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
You must have 4+ years of experience with Kubernetes orchestration including Argo CD, Helm, Terraform, and AWS EKS environments.
You must have 4+ years of experience developing automation scripts using Python, Bash, Golang, or similar languages.
You must have 3+ years of experience using source control and repository management tools like Git, Artifactory, and SonarQube.
You must have 3+ years of experience supporting integration and regression testing in Kubernetes-based environments.
You must possess a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
You must possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization.
