What you'll do

Support the design, development, testing, and debugging of front-end, back-end, or full-stack software.
Develop features using various programming languages including Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Go, or Rust.
Build user interfaces using frameworks like React and contribute to back-end services and APIs.
Manage source code and collaborate on projects using Git and other version-control tools.
Implement solutions using cloud and container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and REST APIs.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including code reviews and technical discussions with the engineering team.
Explore and integrate emerging technologies like AI/ML, automation, and cloud-native development.

What we're looking for

Must be actively enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program at the time of application and returning to complete it after the co-op.
Must be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for 16 weeks between January 19 and May 7.
Must be available to start a full-time role between December 2027 and August 2028 upon graduation.
Candidates must not be enrolled in concurrent coursework during the co-op term.
Experience with software development, data structures, algorithms, or debugging is required.
Proficiency with Git or similar version control tools is required.
Experience with cloud services (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, or GCP) is preferred.
Familiarity with REST APIs, databases, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methods is preferred.
