JOB TITLE: Software Developer – Oracle JD Edwards Developer The Software Developer – Oracle JD Edwards Developer joins the McKesson Medical-Surgical Supply Chain Technology team to manage the analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and support of Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications. This role focuses on supporting critical business operations including distribution, inventory management, procurement, transportation, logistics, and warehouse operations. You will build and maintain custom applications, Event Rules, UBEs, Business Functions, BSSVs, Orchestrations, and interfaces. Key technologies include Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, SQL, APIs, EDI transactions, and middleware platforms. You will collaborate with architects and stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, perform root-cause analysis on production issues, and participate in Agile development activities. The work involves solving complex supply chain problems within a large-scale medical-surgical distribution and healthcare logistics environment.

What you'll do

Develop and maintain Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne custom applications, Event Rules, UBEs, and Business Functions.
Support JD Edwards modules for distribution, inventory management, procurement, and warehouse operations.
Build integrations between JD Edwards and enterprise applications using Orchestrator, APIs, and EDI transactions.
Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and maintain technical design documentation.
Perform root-cause analysis and troubleshoot production issues involving applications, interfaces, and data processing.
Execute data conversion, migration, and validation activities for enterprise-wide initiatives.
Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release deployments.
Optimize SQL queries and perform Oracle database-related development activities.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of relevant experience in software development.
5+ years of Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) development experience.
Experience developing Event Rules (ER), UBEs, Business Functions, BSSVs, Interactive Applications, Tables, and Orchestrations.
Experience supporting JD Edwards Distribution, Inventory Management, Procurement, Sales Order Management, Transportation, Logistics, and Warehouse Management modules.
Experience developing enterprise integrations using JD Edwards Orchestrator, APIs, EDI transactions, and middleware platforms.
Strong Oracle database experience including SQL development, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Experience with SDLC, Agile methodologies, testing practices, and deployment processes.
