JOB TITLE: Software Developer As a Software Developer within the McKesson Automated Prescription Solutions team, you will create, deploy, and support software for managing large, semi-automated pharmacies across the United States. What you'll do

Create, deploy, and support software for managing large, semi-automated pharmacies across the US.
Maintain legacy software by performing bug fixes, software enhancements, and issue analysis in C++/MFC.
Architect and develop major new features and enhance existing projects under limited supervision.
Troubleshoot difficult and complex support issues for major customers.
Develop multi-threaded and distributed applications using Visual C++, C#, and SQL.
Manage low-level control of robots, conveyor systems, controllers, databases, and web services.
Participate in an on-call rotational support schedule over weekends and evenings.

What we're looking for

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Typically requires 4+ years’ experience as a Windows software developer.
Strong experience in designing/writing high speed back-end code in Visual C++, MFC, C# with ASP.NET and/or .NET Core, and MVC.
Strong SQL skills with Microsoft SQL Server and/or MariaDB/MySQL RESTful API services.
Expertise developing multi-threaded and distributed applications.
Experience with software tools and methodologies such as Git, Jenkins, TDD, and automated testing.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, related discipline or experience is desired (preferred).
Experience with SOA, Micro Services, Entity Framework, or web technologies like Angular/React is a plus (preferred).
