What you'll do

Design, develop, test, and support software for large-scale automated pharmacy fulfillment systems.
Modernize and enhance Windows-based applications using C++ and Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFC).
Build and maintain multi-threaded backend services, distributed systems, and RESTful API integrations.
Integrate software with robotics, conveyor systems, and other industrial automation hardware.
Perform root-cause analysis on complex production issues to implement sustainable corrective actions.
Monitor and improve application performance, reliability, scalability, and overall system availability.
Implement engineering practices including source control, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
Participate in an on-call rotation to support mission-critical applications during evenings and weekends.

What we're looking for

Degree or equivalent experience and typically 4 or more years of relevant professional software development experience.
Professional experience developing Windows-based software applications using C++ and MFC.
Experience developing multi-threaded or distributed applications.
Experience working with relational databases and SQL using Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, or a comparable platform.
Experience troubleshooting complex software or production issues and performing root-cause analysis.
Experience using Git or another version-control system.
Experience with continuous integration, automated testing, or Test-Driven Development.
Authorization to work in the United States.
