What you'll do

Lead architecture and delivery of cloud-scale backend services for OCI's WAF platform.
Design and evolve highly available policy management and rule evaluation systems.
Build scalable distributed systems to process high volumes of HTTP/HTTPS traffic.
Drive engineering excellence through software architecture reviews and operational best practices.
Establish robust observability solutions including metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting.

What we're looking for

7–10+ years of experience building production software systems in cloud or SaaS environments.
Strong proficiency in Java, Go, Python, C++, or Rust.
Deep expertise in distributed systems design, including scalability and fault tolerance.
Experience with HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, TLS, reverse proxies, caching, load balancing.
Proven experience with cloud-native technologies like containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.
Strong software engineering fundamentals, including secure development practices.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical initiatives across multiple teams.
