Software Developer 4

What you'll do

• Design, develop, troubleshoot, and test software applications and operating systems.
• Build enhancements and suggest improvements to existing software architectures.
• Develop and manage cloud-native and container-based applications using Docker.
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes using Linux, Unix, and shell scripting.
• Design and develop CI/CD pipelines for software cloud services.
• Implement security best practices for all software products and services.
• Design and manage cloud infrastructure components.
• Write production code using Python, Perl, and Java.

What we're looking for

• Applicants must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
• Candidates must have eight years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a software developer-related occupation.
• Experience with cloud platforms, cloud-native, and container-based applications like Docker is required.
• Experience is required in automating build, test, and deploy processes on Linux OS using Unix command line and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of security aspects of software products and services is required.
• Proficiency in programming languages including Python, Perl, and Java is required.
• Experience with CICD design, SDLC processes for software cloud services, and cloud infrastructure design is required.
