What you'll do

Validate next-generation network security appliances and platform features before market release.
Perform board bring-up and firmware/BIOS validation for new hardware models.
Verify low-level subsystems and advanced firewall and routing features.
Write scripts in Python, C/C++, or Bash for automated testing and data parsing.
Diagnose edge cases and isolate system-level defects in flagship products.
Capture and analyze network traffic using diagnostic tools like Wireshark.
Troubleshoot Linux systems and configure network interfaces via CLI.

What we're looking for

0–2 years of experience in software development QA, network support, or system administration.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Network Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.
Solid foundational understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts, standard network protocols, and packet flows.
Foundational understanding of firewall concepts, packet inspection, NAT, access control policies, and VPN basics.
Programming knowledge in Python, C/C++, or Bash to write scripts for automated testing, test setup, or data/log parsing.
Practical experience configuring or working with physical or virtual network devices like routers, switches, or firewalls.
Experience with Linux administration, system-level troubleshooting, CLI navigation, and network interface configuration.
Relevant industry certifications such as Fortinet, Cisco, CompTIA, or Red Hat (preferred); exposure to virtualization or cloud platforms (preferred).
