As a Software Dev Engineer II, Atlas Telemetry, you will join the Atlas team to build and maintain the backbone software infrastructure for the Amazon Leo satellite network. What you'll do

Create systems and services to ingest, process, and visualize large volumes of satellite telemetry data.
Build real-time monitoring systems to identify anomalies and detect emerging trends.
Develop automated alerting systems to notify stakeholders of critical situations requiring intervention.
Ensure high reliability, uptime, and performance for systems managing telemetry from thousands of endpoints.
Design and develop multi-region telemetry data ingestion and analytics pipelines.
Utilize AWS and other Amazon technologies to build highly available software services.
Build scalable infrastructure to support the functionality of the satellite constellation.

What we're looking for

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status due to export control laws.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems including patterns, reliability, and scaling.
1+ years of experience developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
3+ years of full software development life cycle experience including coding standards, code reviews, source control, and testing.
