What you'll do

Design, develop, and evolve scalable, resilient event-driven services and messaging platform capabilities.
Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for distributed systems and asynchronous communication.
Develop production services and platform components using Golang, REST, and gRPC.
Implement scalable event streaming and messaging solutions using Apache Kafka.
Define architectural standards for producers, consumers, schemas, retries, and error handling.
Design systems that manage ordering, delivery guarantees, idempotency, and failure recovery.
Deploy and operate containerized services within Kubernetes environments.
Establish observability practices including metrics, logging, tracing, and operational alerting.

What we're looking for

Must have 7+ years of professional software development experience for production systems.
Must have 5+ years of Golang experience building production applications and services.
Requires significant experience in software architecture and technical leadership for complex distributed systems.
Requires strong experience designing event-driven architectures and high-scale messaging systems using Apache Kafka.
Requires expertise in Kubernetes, containerized application architectures, and cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Must have experience developing RESTful APIs and gRPC services.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization.
