What you'll do

Design and develop scalable, secure, and maintainable applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Define application and solution architecture for microservices-based, cloud-native systems on AWS.
Translate business requirements and complex problems into clear technical designs and implementation approaches.
Lead technical design discussions regarding architecture decisions, trade-offs, risks, and dependencies.
Create and maintain architecture diagrams, sequence diagrams, API specifications, and solution blueprints.
Design and implement REST APIs, event-driven integrations, and distributed services.
Implement AI-enabled services and integrations using LLMs and cloud-based AI services.

What we're looking for

8+ years of software development experience with significant hands-on experience developing enterprise applications using Java.
Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot, including building production-grade REST APIs and microservices.
1+ year of experience applying AI and Generative AI to improve platform capabilities and engineering productivity.
Demonstrated experience designing software solutions and application architectures rather than just implementing predefined designs.
Strong experience with AWS and building cloud-native applications.
Experience designing and implementing microservices, distributed systems, and asynchronous/event-driven architectures.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Must possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization.
