As a Software Architect on the Trusted Call Solutions and Mobile Messaging team, you will define and govern target architectures for enterprise-grade applications, messaging platforms, APIs, and data services. You will translate product strategy into technical roadmaps while leading design reviews for new products, integrations, and security initiatives. Your daily work involves establishing scalable patterns for microservices, distributed systems, event-driven platforms using Apache Kafka, and Cassandra databases. You will drive modernization efforts to transition legacy platforms toward cloud-native architectures on AWS or similar environments. Key technologies include Java, Spring Boot, Spring Web, Spring Security, and Spring Data. The role addresses critical business problems in the communication space, specifically focusing on fraud prevention, identity verification, and secure messaging solutions like KONTXT and Branded Messaging to improve trust and ensure reliable connectivity for enterprise customers.
Define and govern target architectures for enterprise-grade applications, messaging platforms, APIs, and data services.
Translate product strategy into technical roadmaps, standards, implementation plans, and modernization strategies.
Lead architecture and solution design reviews for new products, integrations, and security initiatives.
Establish scalable patterns for microservices, distributed systems, Kafka messaging, and Cassandra databases.
Drive the transition of legacy platforms toward cloud-ready and cloud-native architectures.
Partner with engineering teams to validate designs through prototypes, performance testing, and code reviews.

Mentor senior engineers on architectural best practices, CI/CD standards, and modern development principles.
What we're looking for
12+ years of experience designing and building enterprise software solutions, including Java-based backend platforms and distributed systems architecture.
Deep understanding of microservices, object-oriented design, integration patterns, data modeling, and performance optimization for high-volume systems.
Expertise in production operations, including observability, reliability engineering, capacity planning, and troubleshooting for mission-critical applications.
Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Web, Spring Security, Spring Data, Apache Kafka, and Cassandra.
Experience with RESTful API design, Linux administration, and AWS or comparable cloud technologies.
Experience with Spark, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana (preferred).
Knowledge of telecommunications, fraud prevention, identity verification, and other communication technologies (preferred).
