Software Architect
As a Software Architect, you will lead a team in the high-velocity Agile development of mission management software for heterogeneous, proliferated satellite constellations. You will be responsible for designing and developing systems for automated mission tasking, deconfliction, replanning, and integration with existing operational environments while maintaining modular, scalable architecture. The role involves managing complex joint mission planning processes and ensuring deployment pipelines meet rigorous security standards within classified cloud-based environments. Key technical requirements include proficiency in Python, SQL Server, Git, and relational databases. You will also utilize Docker and Podman for container lifecycle management and orchestration of capability stacks. Essential skills include experience with distributed systems, DevSecOps principles, and automated CI/CD pipelines. The work focuses on solving critical defense program challenges involving mission-critical software integration across various technical domains and secure infrastructure automation.

What we're looking for
8+ years of experience with software development.
Experience as a technical lead and a software engineering leader.
Experience with software architecture for distributed systems and mission-critical applications.
Experience with Agile methodologies, Git, relational databases (SQL Server), and Python.
Ability to work onsite at an accredited SCIF or SAPF.
HS diploma or GED.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems (preferred); DoD 8570 IAT II Certification, including CISSP or Security+ (preferred).
